A Spirit of Wellness Fiscally Sponsored Program

Building Bereans is fiscally sponsored by Spirit of Wellness, a U.S. non-profit supporting community programs in education, nutrition, and resource development. Donations are managed through Spirit of Wellness to support the mission of Building Bereans.

About Building Bereans

Many young people today have limited opportunities to deeply engage with Scripture. Building Bereans provides structured biblical education that helps children grow in faith, character and leadership.

Participants learn not only to understand Scripture, but to apply it in everyday life.

Why This Work Matters

Children face increasing cultural pressures and conflicting messages about identity and values. Building Bereans helps young people build a firm spiritual foundation early in life so they can navigate these challenges with wisdom and faith.

How the Program Works

Age Based Learning

Children are grouped by ages 5-8, 9-12, and 13-18.

Bi-Weekly Classes

Students participate in regular Bible lessons and scripture memorization.

Mentorship

Older students mentor younger children.

Community Outreach

Programs partner with schools, churches and orphanages.

Mentoring children in Kenya for more than 13 years, Lizah founded Building Bereans to help young people develop strong biblical foundations.
