Spirit of Wellness Partnered with community leaders to provide food staples to families left without income due to the pandemic closures. With only $25.00, a family of four can be provided with staples for two weeks.
Every Thursday, seniors, the most vulnerable group, are treated to lunch served by restaurant owners, Darcy, Olga as well as dedicated volunteers who donate their time and money to ensuring the seniors are treated with as much respect as all the restaurant's customers. In a few short months, the luncheon has grown to serve over 100 meals per week.
With the support of the Olón Comuna, Spirit of Wellness operates a community Foodbank benefiting the most vulnerable community members. The bank provides bi-weekly bags of staples and produce.
